Draw at Anfield
In the last match of 24th Premier League round Liverpool and Tottenham split points, the result was 0-0. It wasn’t so interested match, without many goal opportunities, without too much nice things to see…
Luis Suarez made his return to the Reds’ team as a second half substitute and perhaps wasted the best chance of the match, nodding at Brad Friedel from a matter of yards.
On the other side, Gareth Bale had great opportunity (he was one on one with Reina) after Kranjcar assist but he failed to score.
Liverpool will be more disappointed with the draw than Tottenham, even though Bale had the game’s best chance. Not only were they at home, but they had far more chances and far more possession and were again unable to make it count.
Tottenham: Friedel; Walker, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto; Livermore, Parker; Kranjcar, Modric, Bale; Adebayor.
Subs: Cudicini, Bongani, Nelsen, Rose, Luongo, Lancaster, Saha.
Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Kelly, Agger, Skrtel, Spearing, Kuyt, Gerrard, Adam, Carroll, Bellamy.
Subs: Doni, Suarez, Henderson, Coates, Downing, Carragher, Aurelio.
